The Pro Armour pad
The flexible barrier that takes the shoulder abuse.
This is the main feature of the top. The removable shoulder pad flexes with the wearer, sits between the load and the body, and gives the carry point a better surface to work against.
The raised pad pattern can move with the shoulder instead of feeling like a flat, awkward block under the load.
Tube, blocks, boards, timber and rail materials land on the same spot all day. The pad puts a barrier between that pressure point and the wearer.
Even when the outer shoulder starts showing wear from repeated carrying, the pad is still underneath, helping protect the carry point.
Why it matters
The shoulder is where ordinary hi-vis gives up.
Most workwear is asked to do a job it was not built for: carrying rough, heavy materials on one small area of fabric. Pro Armour builds the pad and reinforced zone around that exact daily problem.
Flex
Moves with the wearer.
The pad is shaped to work with shoulder movement, so it can stay useful through lifting, turning, walking and carrying.
Barrier
Sits between load and body.
It helps soften the contact point where tube, blocks, boards, timber, ladders and tools usually grind into the shoulder.
Wear defence
Still there when the fabric takes abuse.
If the outer shoulder starts to scuff, thin or show small tears from carrying, the removable pad is still the protective layer behind it.
What the wearer cares about
Less dread when another load is waiting.
The person wearing this is not buying a gimmick. They are buying a better shift: less shoulder rub, less ruined kit, and a top built around the place the job actually lands.
| Ordinary hi-vis | Pro Armour approach |
|---|---|
| Thin fabric where the load lands | Flexible removable pad behind the carry point |
| Shoulder can wear, thin or tear quickly | Reinforced zone plus pad barrier for repeated carry work |
| Separate pad can be forgotten or get in the way | Pad is built into the workwear layer they already need |
| One design for every wearer | Left, right and dual shoulder options |
For managers
Small daily damage becomes expensive across a crew.
When workers are burning through hi-vis shoulders or improvising their own padding, the cost shows up in replacement kit, inconsistent PPE and time spent sorting avoidable problems.
We do not add made-up order counts or savings claims. Bulk savings depend on your crew size, replacement rate and order mix.
More options
Build the kit around how the crew carries.
Product questions
Quick answers before you order.
Which shoulder should I choose?
Choose the side the wearer naturally carries on most. If they switch shoulders or carry different materials through the day, dual shoulder padding is the safer choice.
What happens if the outer shoulder starts to tear?
The garment should still be replaced when it is no longer fit for use, but the removable pad continues to sit behind the carry point as a barrier even when the outer shoulder begins to show wear.
Is it suitable for more than scaffolders?
Yes. It is aimed at shoulder-carry trades including scaffolders, brickies, carpenters, rail crews, yards, logistics teams and any role carrying weight on the shoulder.
Can we add a company logo?
Logo printing is available for qualifying bulk and backorder enquiries. Send sizes, quantities, colours and artwork through the contact page.
